We Also Need an Investigation of the Comey Letter
Again, that will probably require a Dem House in 2018. Just another reason for a Dem House.
If you’ve read this blog at all recently, you know I’m-seriously-looking into running against NY-2 GOPer Peter King. So I hope to be part of this Democratic House sworn in January, 2019.
Again, I qualify it: I’m seriously looking into it. I’ve already met with Duwayne Gregory-King’s 2016 candidate. I spoke to the Suffolk Democrats last week and I should be having a meeting with the chair of the Suffolk party soon.
I also commissioned a poll which showed some very interesting-and encouraging results.

There is nothing more important in getting answers to Trump-Russia collusion than a Democratic House in 2019. Please donate to help me in my part of the effort to fight for a Dem House. But also the Comey letter.
Thank you. We must have a Dem House. And so, we will.
Ok, back to the Comey letter. We need answers as to why Comey really sent it. It was a total breach of all agency protocol and precedent and was urged not to do it by Loretta Lynch-though she should simply have prevented him from doing it.
What’s clear is there was a lot going on behind the infamously vague but election flipping letter. There was a lot of forecasting of it by the Trump team.

Not just LaraLea Trump but also Rudy Giuliani. When people act skeptical that ‘Russia is behind all this’ my response is: Maybe you don’t believe in Russia but how can you not believe in Roger Stone?
With his history. I won’t attempt to be comprehensive here-as it requires its own book. Maybe I will write a book about Stone before the election starts next year.
But let’s just start from the top. Roger Stone. The youngest member of CREEP. He was Don Segretti’s errand boy in 1972.
“It would eventually be established with certainty that the man who’d written the “Canucks” letter, the man who’d hired the black protesters in front of Muskie’s hotel room, was Donald Segretti, who handled a secret, separate black ops campaign team for CREEP. The man who’d actually sent the letter to McCloskey, who’d hired the Sedan Chair II mole, was a nineteen year old operative named Roger Stone. It was because of this that he makes a brief appearance in the Watergate testimony.”
In 2000, Stone was a big part of organizing the Brooks Brothers Riots-on the Cuban side. He hardly denies this, he boasts of it.
In 2004, he and Donald Trump bankroll Al Sharpton’s Dem primary run. Sharpton’s role here is to call Howard Dean a racist and sink his campaign. Done and done. I’ve speculated that maybe this is why the Rev never endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016: Trump and Stone called in their favor in making his career at MSNBC.
So the reason why I believe Stone did conspire with Wikileaks and Guccifer 2.0-besides the clear evidence he did-is it’s his MO. It’d be shocking that he didn’t.
But this brings us to Comeygate. Stone’s fingers were all over this one too. Who forced Comey’s hand? Clearly Stone knows more than a little about it:
“Comey had no choice. The NYPD had and has a copy of the 650,000 emails. Comey’s statement, days before the election, that there’s nothing in there, is a bald-faced lie. This is just supposition, but I think the FBI director looked at the content and said they’re going to hang me if I don’t do something.”
Seth Abramson on Comeygate:
“The Domestic Conspiracy That Gave Trump The Election Is In Plain Sight.”
“Information presently public and available confirms that Erik Prince, Rudy Giuliani, and Donald Trump conspired to intimidate FBI Director James Comey into interfering in, and thus directly affecting, the 2016 presidential election. This conspiracy was made possible with the assistance of officers in the New York Police Department and agents within the New York field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. All of the major actors in the conspiracy have already confessed to its particulars either in word or in deed; moreover, all of the major actors have publicly exhibited consciousness of guilt after the fact. This assessment has already been the subject of articles in news outlets on both sides of the political spectrum, but has not yet received substantial investigation by major media.”
“While a full summary of the Prince-Giuliani-Trump conspiracy would require a longer discourse, the actions of these men, along with multiple still-anonymous actors, can be summarized in five paragraphs. It will be for journalists with more resources than this writer to follow up on these leads—and, moreover, to see how this domestic conspiracy dovetails with the Trump-Russia controversy, though this too is briefly addressed below.”
“As reported by the New York Times, FBI Director James Comey released his now-infamous October 27th letter in substantial part because he had determined that “word of the new emails [found on Anthony Weiner’s computer]…was sure to leak out.” Comey worried that if the leak occurred at a time when the nature and evidentiary value of the “new” emails was unknown, he “risked being accused of misleading Congress and the public ahead of an election.” By October 27th, the FBI had had access to Weiner’s computer—which it originally received from NYPD—since October 3rd, during which interval the Bureau had both the time and IT know-how to determine that the “new” emails in its possession were in fact duplicate emails from accounts already revealed to the Bureau by Clinton, her aide Huma Abedin, and the State Department. However, when Comey was briefed on the case by agents from the New York field office on October 26th, he discovered that not only had this IT work not been done, but in fact no warrant to seize the full emails had been sought, no permission to read the emails had been requested from cooperating witnesses Weiner and Abedin, and indeed nothing but a summary of the emails’ “meta-data” (non-content header information) had been prepared by his agents. The result of this investigative nonfeasance was that Comey feared he would not be able to get a warrant for the emails and confirm them as duplicates prior to Election Day—a fact that would allow anti-Clinton elements within NYPD and the FBI, and Trump surrogates and advisers with sources in these organizations, to mischaracterize the “new” emails in a way that would swing the election to Trump. As long as the Clinton investigation remained open, Comey would not be able to respond to such misinformation; his only hope of keeping public discussion of the “new” emails within the sphere of reality was to use the cover of a prior promise to Congress to speak publicly about an ongoing investigation—and then close that investigation in short order.”
Again, Roger Stone has his fingerprints all over this on both ends. In the Comey Letter there are two sides. One is the setup of Anthony Weiner himself-so the NYPD and NY FBI could get their hands on Huma Abedin’s laptop.
Setting Anthony Weiner up, catfishing him was literally like taking candy from a baby. Obviously, the guy has no sense of self-control. By August 2016, he should have realized the only people still trying to sext him where GOP operatives. Yet he fell for it again and again. The NY Post had a big part to play with this-and Stone is very close to the NY Post.
However, in his book about the 2016 election, Stone actually gives us more context. The Road to the Comey Letter actually begun in August after Judicial came across Huma Abedin emails via FOIA requests.
What was wanted was emails Abedin had forwarded to herself.
Quoting Stone word for word in his 2016 book:
“Much of September 2016 was taken trying to find a legal way to force yahoo.com to make public all IP addresses that could identify various Internet uses that had attempted to access or had successfully accessed Abedin’s yahoo.com.”
Location 5714 of 9204.
Jerome Corsi-author of the notorious hit job Unfit to Command, as well as the real father of birtherism-wanted the IP addresses. But what legal way could he get it? He had some retired intel guys with friends in the NY FBI and NYPD-who were in the midst of setting up Anthony Weiner. That was their ticket to Abedin’s 650,000 emails-which, of course, were duplicates. No matter.
Corsi is a very nice piece of work:
“Jerome Robert Corsi (born August 31, 1946) is an American author, political commentator and conspiracy theoristbest known for his two New York Times bestselling books: The Obama Nation and Unfit for Command (with co-author John O’Neill). Both books, the former written in 2008 and the latter in 2004, attacked Democratic presidential candidates and were criticized for including numerous inaccuracies.”
Anyway, this is just the start of what an investigation into the Comey Letter would have to look into. It’d be on both the Coris side and the Weiner side. But also Comey’s handling of the email probe all along. He already went wrong in doing that July press conference when ironically he accused Hillary of being extremely careless.
P.S. As we saw in my poll out last week, the long awaited poll results are in, and right now I’m just 11 points down vs. Peter King (GOP-NY-District 2). And the voters don’t even know who I am yet.
