Jared Kushner Hid Russian Contacts on Form for Security Clearance
Trump is now on to weapons of mass diversion. We knew wag the dog was coming, but this soon? But then Trump’s tenure has been so disastrous it’s all he has left.
Julian Assange claimed that Hilary would have led to endless war. Can you imagine Hillary did this?
If Hillary Clinton had launched a Syrian strike from her beach house without congressional approval she would've already been impeached

So thanks to mass diversion, what should be the real story-our constitutional crisis-has been knocked off the front page temporarily. This week Trump has had some success in mass diversion. First in the slander against Susan Rice.
The media, proving it hasn’t learned, made this the big story, giving shorter thrift to the story that Carter Page is a Russian spy recruit-this Russian spy later went to prison-and giving almost no thrift to Erik Prince’s meeting in the UAE about removing Russian sanctions.
Yesterday, though Trump’s Susan Rice slander had already failed, and the headlines were about Devin Nunes’ stepping down from the Russian probe and the irony that he now faces a House Ethics investigation about-yes, mishandling classified information.
So Trump’s new gambit is to try to get his popularity out of the 30s by a purely theatrical attack in Syria. It in no way hurts Assad but it takes his legitimacy crisis off the front page.
UPDATE: Earlier I looked at a piece at the Palmer Report that argued that Russia was in on this with Trump. I mean it’s pretty clear to me that this is Wag the Dog. But the question is whether Russia was in it or not.
Here is some evidence it was.

But this is what the front page story today should be. Jared Kushner:

Yes, as Olga says-she’s a fellow NYer-back to Russia. Jared already has agreed to testify before the Senate about his meeting with the banker from a sanctioned Russian bank back in November.
But hiding his Russian contacts from a form for security clearance? To quote Joe Biden, ‘That’s a big fucking deal.’
I used to do CI/security investigations–this is automatic grounds for denial or revocation.

Trump has Jared in charge of everything. There has been a growing civil war between Jared and Stephen Bannon. On the face of it, the first reaction is that Bannon has bitten off more than he can chew. You’re not going to win calling the boss’ son in law a ‘Globalist Cuck.’
It would seem that Kushner is in an unassailable position.
But this is serious business. Kushner simply needs to have his security clearance now.
