US Government Investigating if Russia Participated in Syrian Chemical Attack
For those who think it’s nuts to think that Putin was in on this-you haven’t been paying attention. Sometime in 2015, our country went through the Looking Glass into Alice’s Wonderland.
I wrote about the Dilbert Guy earlier-Scott Adams. He’s been a Trumper or at least a big admirer over Trump’s alleged Master Persuasion skills. But he argued that this is a false flag and even Putin might be in on it.
Again, pre 2015 this would be Looking Glass stuff. But, now, we’re through the Looking Glass. And here’s the thing: evidently, the Pengtagon itself believes Putin may have been in on the attacks.
“Senior military officials say the U.S. is looking into whether Russia participated in Syria’s chemical weapons attack earlier this week.”
“The officials say Russia has failed to control the Syrian government’s use of chemical weapons.”
“They say a drone belonging either to Russia or Syria was seen hovering over the site of the chemical weapons attack Tuesday after it happened. The drone returned late in the day as citizens were going to a nearby hospital for treatment. Shortly afterward, officials say the hospital was bombed.”
“The officials say they believe the hospital attack may have been an effort to cover up evidence of the attack.”
“The officials weren’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter and demanded anonymity. They say they’re still reviewing evidence.”

Then you have the fact that Assad knew the attack was coming. How did he know? Did Russia tell him?

So a working theory of the Dilbert Guy is also a working theory of the Pentagon. But the question is: why would Putin do this? There was no need for Assad to do a chemical attack-and every reason not to.
“The reason the Assad government would bomb its own people with a nerve agent right now is obvious. Syrian President Assad – who has been fighting for his life for several years, and is only lately feeling safer – suddenly decided to commit suicide-by-Trump. Because the best way to make that happen is to commit a war crime against your own people in exactly the way that would force President Trump to respond or else suffer humiliation at the hands of the mainstream media.”
“I’m going to call bullshit on the gas attack. It’s too “on-the-nose,” as Hollywood script-writers sometimes say, meaning a little too perfect to be natural. This has the look of a manufactured event.”
“My guess is that President Trump knows this smells fishy, but he has to talk tough anyway. However, keep in mind that he has made a brand out of not discussing military options. He likes to keep people guessing. He reminded us of that again yesterday, in case we forgot.”
“There is also a non-zero chance that Putin just asked Assad to frame one of his less-effective Syrian generals for going rogue with chemical weapons, and executing him just to calm things down.”
Yep-through the Looking Glass.
P.S. As we saw in my poll out last week, the long awaited poll results are in, and right now I’m just 11 points down vs. Peter King (GOP-NY-District 2). And the voters don’t even know who I am yet.
