A New Article of Impeachment to Add: Destruction of Evidence
The Senate on Friday night called on the Trump campaign to save all documents key to the Russia probe. However, there was reason to think they’ve destroyed a lot of it already. This because many members of the campaign used auto delete which destroys the documents automatically.
“The probe into the trump campaigns possible collusion with Russia has been under way for a while now. With the discovery of Jared Kushner’s communications with the Russia this week, the need for answers have never been more dire. Robert Mueller, who was appointed special counsel, sent a letter last week to the treasurer of the Trump campaign, requesting that all former staff produce all Russia related documents. Trump’s former staff can expect to be contacted in the days to come to ensure that they submit those documents properly.”
“The problem is that many staffers may have used auto-delete apps like Confide, Signal, and WhatsApp, making the information they shared on the platforms impossible to collect. The Trump staff has relied on these so much that they were reprimanded by press secretary Sean Spicer. Another difficulty they are facing is that the Trump campaign didn’t have a document retention plan. The question now is what data was lost?”
With Nixon and Waterate, they actually destroyed relevant evidence.

Maybe Trump can ask Putin and WikiLeaks to find them. https://t.co/f4FpgBNRBq

True. Assange-of all people-is now defending Jared Kushner. Clearly Assange is a non political transparency activist with no partisan motives.
Kushner correct to create channels with everyone. CIA has no authority over leadership and is financially motivated to increase conflict.

Pretty smart to couch it that way-as anti CIA. This allows some Bernie Bros who read Glenn Greenwald to continue to delude themselves about Assange’s true motives and actions.
Notice that the first thing Trump apologists, Assange, and RT did after Comey was fired, was to start pushing the lie about Seth Rich-despite his family’s begging them to stop. Why? Trump hopes the Bernie Bros somehow will save him.
Assange was a pretty smart conduit because while he’s really on the Far Right, he had undeserved street cred with many on the Berner Left.

Back to Russia documents. True, campaigns aren’t directed by law to maintain their email conversations. But it’s different since they’ve gotten to the WH. And if anyone destroys campaign communications now, they’re in ‘deep dodo’ as Bush Sr would put it.
“Political campaigns, Politico noted, are typically not required to preserve emails on their private server for long windows of time, and most messages are deleted within 30 to 90 days, unless steps are taken to preserve them. ”
“The White House itself is subject to more rigorous recordkeeping rules, and White House counsel Don McGahn directed staffers in February to preserve documents and other records that could be requested or used in ongoing federal investigations into Russian election meddling.”
“But at issue for some White House staffers is the existence of encrypted apps, such as Signal and Confide, that automatically delete messages. Failure to maintain certain records, according to Politico, could potentially lead to legal trouble.”
“U.S. law requires individuals to preserve documents, emails and other records once they become aware that such material could be pertinent to an investigation, regardless of whether they are formally notified by investigators.”
So using auto delete apps in the WH is already a no on by definition.
And any destruction of evidence in Russia would be a crime-and yet another impeachable offense. Add destruction of evidence to the list.
I came up with seven just off the top of my head a few weeks ago.
By no means did I believe it was comprehensive, just what I could think of based on public information. Now add the eight: destruction of evidence.
Meanwhile Trump claims that the MSM is attacking his use of Twitter.
The Fake News Media works hard at disparaging & demeaning my use of social media because they don't want America to hear the real story!

As usual, he misconstrues things entirely. The media surely doesn’t demean it-they love when he tweets as it makes their jobs easy.
If anyone wishes he’d stop, it’s his legal team. His every tweet is potentially another article of impeachment. That being the case-by all means, Happy Tweetin’!
P.S. As we saw in my poll out last week, the long awaited poll results are in, and right now I’m just 11 points down vs. Peter King (GOP-NY-District 2). And the voters don’t even know who I am yet.
There is nothing more important in getting answers to Trump-Russia collusion than a Democratic House in 2019. Please donate to help me in my part of the effort to fight for a Dem House.
Thank you. We must have a Dem House. And so, we will.
