Catch the (Democratic) Wave & Jump Aboard the Impeachment Train
So a huge night for the Democrats. It’s now clear that the Dems can ride the wave of #TheResistance against Donald Trump and see results few were predicting.
In Virginia 50% of voters said their vote was a referendum on Trump and of those 50% of voters by a 2 to 1 margin it was meant to register their opposition to Trump.

So now hopefully Democrats have learned a few things-like vote in off year elections. target voters of color and educated whites AND run in every race.
“The shifted landscape remains forbidding for Democrats. They must flip 24 Republican-held seats to win the House, and are forced to defend 10 incumbent senators running for reelection in states that Trump won in 2016. They must also handle a range of painful internal tactical and policy divisions threatening to rupture their unity at any moment.”
“Plus, Tuesday’s wide victories came in one solidly Democratic state and another that’s been leaning that way, making it potentially perilous to read too much into their results.”
“But paired with Phil Murphy’s long-expected victory in New Jersey’s gubernatorial election, upsets in Virginia’s House of Delegates races, and wins in mayoral elections from New Hampshire to Florida, the evening presented Democrats with a night to celebrate for the first time since Trump’s shocking victory in November 2016. They have repeatedly fallen short in special elections in conservative areas so far this year, but Tuesday’s results wiped that slate nearly clean in the eyes of stunned party operatives and lawmakers.”
“After Northam’s win, New Mexico Rep. Ben Ray Luján, chairman of House Democrats’ campaign wing, immediately started calling potential Democratic House candidates who were on the fence about whether to run.”
“Doesn’t matter if you’re watching CNN, Fox News, or MSNBC: There’s good news for Democrats, [and] this is a nightmare scenario for Republican incumbents, especially in Virginia,” Luján said, pointing to Virginia Rep. Barbara Comstock as an example of an incumbent Republican whose path to victory suddenly looks much tougher.
“The House is absolutely in play; everything is absolutely moving in our direction,” Luján said.
Great so NOW they’re realizing Dems have an opportunity. Of course, as many of you know I have been making this case for some time now.
AND I have put my own money where my mouth is and am running as a first time candidate in the NY2 Congressional District.
And let’s be clear: we’ve come very far. Newsday and the local county Democrats now recognize this campaign as one of the three candidates for NY2 in 2018.
That’s pretty impressive when you consider where we came from. Now many elected officials recognize us.
However, now is the time to take it to the next level. Many are voicing support.
I'll donate. I was already following you. I'm waiting on a sizable check before I donate but I'm following you.

But now is our chance.
And let’s be clear. There is reason to believe that the Mike Sax NY2 Facebook page was attacked on the morning of Sunday, November 5.
For political reasons. I will provide you folks with more information in the next few days and weeks. But this was malicious and undemocratic. Someone is not happy that I’ve been speaking with voters and desperately wants to shut my mic off.
I don’t believe it was one of the other Democratic campaigns.
My assumption is it was a Trump deplorable over on my FB page.
Though it is interesting that before the FB ad account was disabled I’d just sent Claude Taylor a link of our FB page.
What would be Claude’s motivation for maliciously flagging my account? I don’t know. But the correlation and timing is so close that it makes me stand up and take notice.
Malcolm Nance makes the point that intelligence agents think differently than other people. I’ve often felt that I’m endowed with the mind of an intelligence agent-which is why I suspected for so long that there was Russia collusion.
I mean those DNC leaks. The timing was just too perfect: just before the Democrats try to unify forcing them to fire their chairwoman on the first night.
No that’s too convenient to be a coincidence.
I have no idea for now what Claude Taylor’s motivation very well might have been. In fairness I don’t know at all that he did it. But the timing is very interesting.
1. Sunday morning my FB page is fine. I boost a post on FB about Donna Brazille no problem.
2. Right after I’m on Twitter-linking the same post on Twitter-and I have a conversation with Claude Taylor.
He argues that my campaign isn’t viable. Now while I disagreed part of me likes naysayers in order to prove them wrong and watch the egg slowly slide down their skeptical faces.
So I sent him my FB link and said that I’m reaching a lot of people on FB.
Right after that conversation I was back boosting another post on FB and get a message the account was disabled. This greatly reduces the reach of potential voters I can reach.
It’s akin to someone addressing a large auditorium and someone shutting your mic off. Yes, you can still keep talking but far fewer people can now hear you.
Anyway, my guess is my Russia analysis and demand for answers on what happened in that election bothers some Trump deplorables. Claude Taylor’s role-if he had one-I don’t know at this moment.
P.S. I’m Mike Sax, I’m running for Congress in the NY 2nd District and I’m a Hillary Clinton Democrat.
Meeting her recently was one of the biggest honors in my life to stand next to such a fine public servant and trailblazer. She seemed to like our Impeachment Train campaign t shirts too!
Think of the shirt as a one time investment in restoring legitimacy to this country.
And please donate so we can compete with Peter King’s $4 million. I know no lobbyists or millionaires like Peter King. Small donations are the engine of the Mike Sax NY2 campaign. Together we can do it. Because we must.
