Sessions Declares ‘I Never Told a Lie’-Which is itself a Big Fat Lie
So the question coming into Sessions testimony today would be wether he’d finally tell the truth or he’d done what he did at his previous hearings: act all indignant while issuing categorical (non) denials.
I sit on the House Judiciary Committee and Lyin' Jeff Sessions has the opportunity to either apologize for his prior false statements, or lie under oath again. What do you think he will do? https://t.co/48I7yFYqJz

Talk about a sucker’s bet huh?
I’m watching his opening testimony right now here on MSNBC and wouldn’t you know it? The little segregationist comes out with guns blazing and starts out with a whopper: I reject that I’ve ever lied.
That’s not just a lie, it’s a big, fat, gob smacking lie. He claims that his story never changed.
So what he said was that he categorically rejected Papadopolous’ proposal to work with Russia on the emails.
Ok. Whether that’s true or false that is very different from what he’d said previously. He’d previously asserted that he saw no one in the Trump campaign collude with any Russians.
His story has changed so much you get whiplash trying to remember all the zigs and zags.
This is what happens when you lie so much you forget the original lie you told @jeffsessions

He had first stated:
1. I had no contacts with any Russians during the campaign.
2. Then it was ‘I had no contacts with any Russians during the campaign about the campaign.’
3. Then it was “I may have spoken with some Russians about the campaign during the campaign but it wasn’t in any real detail.’
4. Then it was ‘I never colluded with any Russians’ and never saw anyone else in the campaign collude with any Russians.
5. Now it’s ‘I told Papadopoulos that under no circumstances is our campaign to collude with the Russians.’
Meanwhile, he also let slip today how hard it is and how unreasonable we all are to expect him to remember what he said and did a whole year ago.
Really? Isn’t Sessions the top judicial agent in the country? Matters of law and court often carry into issues that happened much longer ago than 1 whole year.
And certain things you remember better than others.
Sessions feigning that he can’t be expected to remember conversations with Papadopoulos about colluding with the Russians is about as credible as Roy Moore not recalling that he sexually assaulted 14 year olds because it was so long ago.
Meanwhile Papadopolous paints a very different picture of Sessions’ response to his proposal.
What Sessions is likely talking about here is that he-as well as Sam Clovis-argued against Trump himself going to Moscow. But this was not a rejection in principle of collusion just of establishing plausible deniability by having someone more junior go in his stead. This more junior person turned out to be Carter Page who says Sessions knew all about his trip beforehand.
Yet Sessions is talking about investigating Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton is a private citizen. Yet Jeff Sessions-a unreconstructed segregationist and traitor-wants to investigate HER? https://t.co/5mOLwggg7N

Uh, it’s time. Sessions needs to go. If Trump still wants to fire him I’m all for it.
P.S. I’m Mike Sax, I’m running for Congress in the NY 2nd District and I’m a Hillary Clinton Democrat.
Meeting her recently was one of the biggest honors in my life to stand next to such a fine public servant and trailblazer. She seemed to like our Impeachment Train campaign t shirts too!
Think of the shirt as a one time investment in restoring legitimacy to this country.
And please donate so we can compete with Peter King’s $4 million. I know no lobbyists or millionaires like Peter King. Small donations are the engine of the Mike Sax NY2 campaign. Together we can do it. Because we must.
