Jared Kushner’s Collusion Email Chains Keep Getting Longer
Kushner’s Russia problem keeps getting worse. His trouble with reading emails properly keeps getting him in trouble.
Legal expert Laurence Tribe suggested this week that Kushner may end up in prison.
“Harvard Law Professor Laurence Tribe, one of the most widely respected legal minds in the nation, to tweet “My prediction: Kush will be among the Trumpsters who end up doing hard time.” (link). Tribe did not go on to spell out which potential charges Kushner might go to prison for. It is known that he secretly met with the Russian Ambassador and the head of a Russian bank during the transition period, though it’s not known precisely what was discussed during those meetings. It is, however, known that Kushner omitted those meetings from his White House security clearance forms, and it’s stated on the forms that lying on them is an imprisonable felony.”
The thing about Kushner is:
1. He has had a LOT of contacts with the Russians
2. He has failed to come close to disclosing them on many occasions. It’s one thing to lie ot the media. But he also failed to disclose hundreds of Russian contacts on his clearance disclosure form.
He ALSO omitted contacts before Congress. That in itself is perjury. It alone could carry with it a prison sentence.
In Congressional testimony Kushner said he knew of NO Trump campaign contact with Wikileaks; it's now clear post Don Jr revelations this was rank perjury on his part https://t.co/Wcf8HK5qkU

Then you add to that his very bizarre meeting with Kisylak last year when he talked about a back channel conversation in the Russian embassy to hide it from the US government and you see how prison could be in his future.
But it’s even worse than that. There are so many email chains that Kushner has failed to disclose or explain. Emails or often at the locus of his problems. For instance, regarding his failure to disclose Russian contacts on his clearance form he blames his aides for hitting send on the email before he could add them.
Regarding his attendance at the (in)famous Russia meeting in June, 2016 at Trump Tower with Don Jr and Paul Manafort he again blames the emails: his assistant didn’t read the subject line.
When in doubt blame your assistants, blame the emails.
He falsely claimed he knew of no Trump campaign contacts with Wikileaks but now we know that Donald Jr emailed him about his communications with Wikileaks in September and October of 2016.
Now we know about a few more of Jared’s own email chains that are big problems for him:
1. NBC News:
“President Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, failed to disclose what lawmakers called a “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite” involving a banker who has been accused of links to Russian organized crime, three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.”
“An email chain described Aleksander Torshin, a former senator and deputy head of Russia’s central bank who is close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, as wanting Trump to attend an event on the sidelines of a National Rifle Association convention in Louisville, Kentucky, in May 2016, the sources said. The email also suggests Torshin was seeking to meet with a high-level Trump campaign official during the convention, and that he may have had a message for Trump from Putin, the sources said.”
“Spanish anti-corruption officials have identified Torshin as a “godfather” in the Russian mafia — something Torshin has denied.”
“The disclosure is the latest example of a senior Russian official seeking to make high-level contacts with the Trump campaign.”
Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite. Who doesn’t get those? Godfather of the Russian mafia.
The latest example of a senior Russian official seeking to make high-level contacts with the Trump campaign.
And the latest example of Kushner failing to disclose them.
But-it’s even worse than that.
2. Natasha Bertrand:
“President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, was copied on emails sent to the Trump campaign last year from Sergei Millian, the Belarus-born businessman who has worked with the Trump Organization and was reportedly a key source in the explosive dossier alleging ties between Trump and Russia.”
“Senate Judiciary Committee leaders said on Thursday that Trump campaign officials had handed over “communications with Sergei Millian, copied to Mr. Kushner,” that Kushner had apparently failed to disclose voluntarily. Kushner also received an email that discussed a “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite” from Alexander Torshin, the deputy head of Russia’s central bank, according to NBC.”
“Jared Kushner’s lawyer told the committee that the “communications” with Millian were between Millian and Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, in which Cohen was urging Millian to stop speaking to the press.”
“A Washington Post profile from March noted an additional point of contact: Millian told associates last year that he was in regular touch with George Papadopoulos — a campaign foreign policy adviser who pleaded guilty late last month to making false statements to the FBI about the extent and nature of his contacts with Kremlin-linked foreign nationals.”
Let me guess: on both these escapades, the Kushner answer will be his assistants forgot to read the subject lines of the emails and prematurely hit send.
P.S. I’m Mike Sax, I’m running for Congress in the NY 2nd District and I’m a Hillary Clinton Democrat.
Meeting her recently was one of the biggest honors in my life to stand next to such a fine public servant and trailblazer. She seemed to like our Impeachment Train campaign t shirts too!
Think of the shirt as a one time investment in restoring legitimacy to this country.
