The Trump Administration May Have Just Committed Obstruction of Justice
You know what they say-‘it’s the coverup not the crime.’ Or at least they say that after Watergate. Now, in Watergate 2.0-which has another DNC break-in, another attempt to subvert an Presidential election, and Roger Stone again-we now have a coverup.
While it’s possible the Russia story could be smoke-i,e a lot of smoke that suggests fire but there is no fire-Trump’s actions are consistent with a guilty person. If he were innocent he’d be better much better off telling the truth. The truth is your friend so long as your innocent.
But even if the Russia story were total smoke-and we need a full, independent investigation to know this-Trump may already have committed an impeachable offense.
Again, in Watergate, article one of the three articles of impeachment against Nixon was: yep, impeachment.
Reince Priebus should watch his back: just recently, Roger Stone said it’s going to be ‘his turn in the barrel.’
Stone has a way of being right about who’s next in the barrel. And he’s been training his sights on Preibus. And now Preibus really is in trouble.
“White House chief of staff Reince Priebus asked a top FBI official to dispute media reports that President Donald Trump’s campaign advisers were frequently in touch with Russian intelligence agents during the election, a White House official says.”
“The official said that Priebus’ request came after the FBI told the White House it believed a New York Times report last week describing those contacts was not accurate. As of Thursday, the FBI had not stated that position publicly and there was no indication it planned to.”
Again, this by itself is arguably an impeachable offense.

Matthew Miller, formerly of the Obama DOJ, argues by itself this is cause for Preibus to step down.

I mean remember all the outrage over Loretta Lynch bumping into Bill Clinton at a Colorado airport?
Yes. And this is exponentially worse than the Lynch-Clinton meeting where an investigation wasn't even discussed. https://t.co/X4PMERGT5x
