Annoy Breitbart: Read HillaryBeatTrump.org
Trump and friends never stop talking about Hillary which is a tell: they know we know Trump didn’t win this election legitimately.
Trump is constantly talking about the election and his ‘huge, historical win’ because of the harsh truth that he lost the popular vote by 3 million and only won the EC because of Comey.
Hillary is the people’s President. Even many of those who didn’t vote for her now see her as a hero, of a martyr, of what could have been, of what should have been.
I’m watching Homeland this morning-the wonders of DVR-and, they too thought she’d be President as the new female POTUS is clearly based on her.
So this website goes straight to his heart. That’s reason enough for me to bookmark it.
The site has drawn ire from conservatives, including sites such as Breitbart, which bashed it as a “refuge from reality.” Meanwhile, many liberals enjoy the website as a parody.
It’s a refuge alright though not an idle one. It’s also highly motivating and inspiring to fight for the future we were robbed of. And it’s a great way to give Breibart and Trump an big ole middle finger.
The site tells fake news stories parodying Trump headlines of the day. For example, after White House press secretary Sean Spicer on Friday hand-picked certain outlets to attend a press briefing, the site published a piece, “Clinton boldly invites press to attend White House press conference.”
Other headlines on the site include: “Shonda Rhimes to pen Clinton’s first State of the Union address,” “God confesses he’s a Hillary supporter in latest revelation,” and “As hate crimes decline, Milo Yiannopoulos returns to work as Starbucks barista.”
“According to a report by The Washington Post, the site’s creator, who remained anonymous, wanted the site to be, “a joyful middle finger.”
“I didn’t want to wallow or argue with people who can’t be argued with. There’s something about humor as confrontation that I instinctively thought would work — like a good right jab that I could keep using,” she told The Post.
It’s not just Clinton’s fans reading it either. The Trump supporters are furious:
Thousands of furious Trump fans can’t stop visiting a website that pretends Clinton won.”
“It’s just over a month into Hillary Clinton’s historic presidency, and Milo Yiannopoulos works as a Starbucks barista, the Koch brothers have fled the country and the first woman to occupy the Oval Office is the sober, exacting policy wonk that millions of Americans expected.”
Her approval ratings are skyrocketing, her news conferences “oppressively intelligent,” “boring” and “too sane.”
Basically this is what would have happened if not for the Comey letter. And note that her favorability numbers were on the upswing during October, until the Comey letter. In the RCP average her unfavorability had fallen from -14 to -7. After the Comey letter it sunk to about -15.
That’s more proof if you needed it of the impact.
Back to HillaryBeatTrump:
“And her vanquished political opponent, Donald Trump, is on the verge of being charged with treason by the Department of Justice.”
Again, a major selling point for this brilliant website is it drives the Trumpkins crazy.
“This liberal fantasy on steroids arrives courtesy of Hillarybeattrump.org, a satirical news site designed to dive deeply under the skin of President Trump and anyone who supports him.”
“The site channels the Onion’s humor, the National Enquirer’s whacked-out headlines and the Huffington Post’s progressive indignation. It’s a parody-based parallel universe whose creator intended for it to serve as a trap for Trump supporters online, with a mocking masthead that says: “President Hillary Rodham Clinton.”
“The site’s founder — a 30-year-old East Coast writer who asked spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of becoming a conservative target in real life — told The Washington Post that her conservative critics are partially correct: Hillarybeattrump is meant to serve as a refuge from reality for liberals.”
“But mostly, she said, it’s a chance to troll the opposition whose party actually won the presidency.”
“I wanted it to be a joyful middle finger,” the site’s founder said when reached by phone. “I didn’t want to wallow or argue with people who can’t be argued with. There’s something about humor as confrontation that I instinctively thought would work — like a good right jab that I could keep using.”
Truly one of the best things ever. So visit it every day. And be sure to tell every Trump supporter you know about it. Does Trump himself know about it? Perfect way to drive him totally over the edge.
P.S. If you enjoy my blog and my support of #TheResistance-I’m also considering a 2018 run against GOP Congressmen Peter King of the NY 2nd district-then please consider a donation.
