The Thread That Links it all Together? Anthony Weiner
Oops, Louise Mensch did it again.
Say what you want about the Guardian’s Louise Mensch. Breitbart and friends have.”
“MSNBC Panelist Spouts Loony Conspiracy Theories On The Internet.”
“Just about all of Mensch’s theories have centered around Russian President Vladimir Putin and alleged operations by his government to undermine the American political system.”
“Her most recent unfounded idea that caused an uproar on the internet was that the late Andrew Breitbart was murdered by Putin. “I absolutely believe that Andrew Breitbart was murdered by Putin, just as the founder of RT was murdered by Putin,” Mensch tweeted to her nearly 150,000 followers Friday while offering no evidence. The founder of the eponymous news site died suddenly at age 43 from heart failure in March 2012.”
Ok, I find the idea that Breitbart was murdered by Putin pretty farfetched if she said it. Note that the Daily Caller provides no link so we can check independently. That the RT founder could be murdered by Putin is perhaps less farfetched. Putin has murdered a lot of journalists so there is nothing farfetched about that.
If she did say that Putin killed Breitbart, though, I’m skeptical. Mind you, if coming up with a single farfetched conspiracy theory means we must never listen to you again, then no one should ever listen to Donald Trump who has conspiracy theories as absurd as this every day:: Ted Cruz’s dad killed JFK; cheering Muslims in NJ; 5 million illegal voters all for Hillary.
But then DC gave us another example of Ms. Mensch’s ‘bizarre theories.’
“The former British MP moved on from both writing and managing Heat Street in January reportedly due to her tweets, and she’s now instead vice president of creative and strategy for News Corp. In the wake of her departure, however, Mensch launched a blog titled “Patribotics,” in which she flushes out her unfounded conspiracy theories in long stories instead of short tweets.”
“Her first story on the blog was “Dear Mr. Putin, Let’s Play Chess.” Mensch at times writes as if the blog post is a letter to Putin and has a litany of unverified claims such as: Attorney General Jeff Sessions is a “Russian partisan”; there are Russian moles in the New York FBI criminal field office who might have planted old emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop; and that FBI Director James Comey has audio proof of Russian money financing Trump.”
So DC thought the idea that Sessions is a Russian partisan was self evidently absurd, that such a suggestion didn’t even pass the laugh test.
Now we know better. Now we know that Ms. Mensch is right-again.

She’s been right a lot even if she has had some swings and misses as Putin killing Breitbart likely is-if she said it. Last year while the Times was printing that story from anonymous FBI sources that tried to exculpate Trump and Russia while the Times refused to print Harry Reid’s retraction; Mensch was on that as well.

Another thing she’s been on is the Weiner connection. She’s not the only person to suggest Anthony Weiner was set up. It’s clear he was the victim of a honeypot operation.
A few things to remember. Never underestimate Roger Stone. Don’t forget James Comey, and don’t forget Anthony Weiner. The straight line is from Weiner being entrapped in another sexting scandal to the Comey letter.
Non political friend on inside said casually to me "patience. You haven't heard last of Comey." Never understood why Trump kept him. https://t.co/8GJB9pBXEU

Absolutely. Any decent novelist would put Comey at the center of the final scene. https://t.co/6RX4GOs8EN

Absolutely. No decent novelist would not have a link between Comey, the NY FBI, and Russia. The thread that ties the FBI and Putin together is Anthony Weiner.
More from Louise Mensch.
She thinks like an intel agent. Remember, intel agents often engage in apparent ‘conspiracy theories.’ A ‘dossier’ will often have leads that aren’t exact. But honestly, Mensch has been right an awful lot. She’s been right more in the last few months than most are in their entire lives.
