‘The Higher Your Education Level the More Likely You are to Loath Trump’
Who said this? Yup, Roger Stone. Stone’s been in the news a lot lately, and we’re only getting started.
Claims FBI has proof of any meaningful contact between me and Russkys are a steaming pile of dung. Stand by @StoneColdTruth

So there may be contact with the Russians that wasn’t meaningful?
We have now heard that Stone not only had back channel communications with Assange but also Guccifer 2.0. When asked about whether he emailed Guccifer 2.0, he did a Jeff Sessions-‘I don’t recall.’
No one remembers anything in Trumpworld. Nigel Farage walking out of Assange’s place that the embassy didn’t recall the reason for his visit as he left the building.
“The FBI is reportedly investigating Stone, as well as former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, former adviser Carter Page and former national security adviser Michael Flynn, for alleged contacts with Russian officials during the presidential campaign.”
“The Smoking Gun revealed that investigation was being run out of the FBI’s San Francisco office, and two sources told the website reported that agents had obtained detailed records for the Guccifer 2.0 Twitter and WordPress accounts.”
Ok, back to the title. Here’s what Stone said in his interview with The Intercept:
“Among the Trump associates being investigated by the FBI, Stone has known the 45th president the longest. For more than 30 years, Stone has worked, on and off, for Trump as a lobbyist, strategic advisor, and political consultant. Stone, who urged Trump to run for president in 1988, 2000, and 2012, wrote in 2011 that the real estate developer was a “middle class phenomenon,” adding that, “The higher your level of education the more likely you are to loathe Trump.”
There is a lot of truth in this. What predicted Trump support is not income level-on average Trump voters were richer than Hillary voters-but education. As Trump himself said: ‘I love the poorly educated.’
“I took a list of all 981 U.S. counties1 with 50,000 or more people2 and sorted it by the share of the population3 that had completed at least a four-year college degree. Hillary Clinton improved on President Obama’s 2012 performance in 48 of the country’s 50 most-well-educated counties. And on average, she improved on Obama’s margin of victory in these countries by almost 9 percentage points, even though Obama had done pretty well in them to begin with.”
“Now here’s the opposite list: The 50 counties (minimum population of 50,000) where the smallest share of the population has bachelor’s degrees:
“These results are every bit as striking: Clinton lost ground relative to Obama in 47 of the 50 counties — she did an average of 11 percentage points worse, in fact. These are really the places that won Donald Trump the presidency, especially given that a fair number of them are in swing states such as Ohio and North Carolina. He improved on Mitt Romney’s margin by more than 30 points (!) in Ashtabula County, Ohio, for example, an industrial county along Lake Erie that hadn’t voted Republican since 1984.”

I’m sure now Trump believes the unemployment rate-according to today’s numbers now at 4,7%-are accurate. While Obama was POTUS he claimed the ‘real rate’ was 32%.
As to Trumpcare, talk about a feature not a bug:
“House Speaker Paul Ryan said Friday that a failure on the part of Republicans to pass healthcare legislation rolled out by House leadership earlier this week would be a “momentum-killer” for the remainder of the GOP agenda.”
Greg Sargent finds that the same people who voted for Trump will lose bigly with Trumpcare. He provides these numbers-from Nate Cohn:
“Those who stand to lose more than $7,500 in subsidies went for Trump by 58-39.”
“Those who stand to lose between $5,000 and $7,500 went for Trump by 60-35.”
“Those who stand to lose between $2,500 and $5,000 went for Trump by 49-45.”
“Those who stand to lose between $1,000 and $2,500 went for Trump by 46-46.”
