In Wikileaks Hack of the CIA it’s What Trump is not Saying That Speaks Volumes
Wikileaks, I love Wikileaks. This is what Trump said about Assange’s outfit during the campaign. Roger Stone-who had ‘back channel communications’ with Wikileaks with a ‘media friend’-Sean Hannity?-called Assange a hero.
He also called Guccifer 2.0 a hero and it turns out that Stone, this old Nixon man, had back channel communications with Guccifer as well; the intel agencies believe with a high level of confidence that Guccifer 2.0 was actually run by the GRU.
Now, regarding Wikileaks claimed hack of the CIA, Trump has said nothing. Not one word of criticism. A journalist asked him about it yesterday and he simply didn’t respond.
Here is Roger Stone doing-what else-defending Wikileaks:

Actually according to the Steele Dossier-that has checked out in many parts, Wikileaks was a front for the Russians.
And Stone himself sort of hints at it himself here in trying to knock down suspicions about Guccifer 2.0:
“Stone’s piece on Breitbart–which was then still being run by Stephen Bannon–contended that “common sense” dictated that “if Russia were doing what Hillary says they were doing they simply would have gone straight to Wikileaks” with the stolen DNC documents. Which, of course, is exactly what “Guccifer 2.0” said was done, a fact Stone neatly avoided.”
Meanwhile Nigel Farage just happened to show up leaving Assange’s building yesterday. When asked what he was doing there he did a Jeff Sessions: ‘I don’t remember.’
He literally claimed not to remember why he visited a place he was just leaving. Talk about short term memory loss.
Remember that Farage is a good buddy of Trump’s-he actually came to the States to campaign with him during the election. As if Farage hasn’t screwed up his own country enough, he also wanted to have a hand in screwing up ours.
The ‘I don’t remember’ defense is big around Trump and his associates. They don’t remember much. Even when you talk to them in the act as with Farage they ‘forget’ what they are presently doing.
In summary: Trump advisors & campaign officials and Ambassador Russian Spook all suffer from acute, selective, memory loss. How convenient! https://t.co/D8R2u0Rsd0

Let’s lay it on the line then. Stone calls Assange a hero, Trump loves Assange-Hannity now likes Russia better than the CIA.
Is there a plan to reward Assange’s faithful service to the Trump campaign by letting him walk? Is that what Farage was working on with Assange yesterday?
UPDATE: A Great piece by Max Boot in Foreign Policy says it all:
