Comeygate: the Erick Prince Connection
In my last post this morning, I pointed out that while there is-rightfully-a lot of focus on the Russiagate piece of Watergate 2.0, there has been until now, very little focus on the Comeygate piece-his letter and also his July presser-of this.
That’s despite the fact that Comey himself is under investigation by the DOJ’s Inspector General.
Who are the players in Comeygate? A lot of people at the NYPD and NY FBI. We certainly need to figure out who Roger Stone is talking about here:
“Comey had no choice. The NYPD had and has a copy of the 650,000 emails. Comey’s statement, days before the election, that there’s nothing in there, is a bald-faced lie. This is just supposition, but I think the FBI director looked at the content and said they’re going to hang me if I don’t do something.”
We need to know exactly who these people were who were going to hang Comey if he didn’t write that letter and by what means they were going to ‘hang him.’
So it’s no surprise that Roger Stone’s fingerprints are all over Comeygate just as they’re all over Russiagate.
Who else will a future Dem Congressional investigation need to speak to? Giuliani for sure. Trump’s daughter in law, Lara Trump who seemed to know about this before it came out.
There is Jeremy Corsi who may be the one who brought Huma Abedin’s emails to the NY FBI and NYPD to plant on Weiner’s laptop.
Then there’s: Erik Prince. AKA from Blackwater, AKA Betsey DeVos’ brother.
“Prince founded the notorious private security firm Blackwater, which rose to infamy in September 2007 after its operatives gunned down 17 Iraqi civilians, including a 9-year-old boy in Baghdad’s Nisour Square. Whistleblowers also alleged that Prince encouraged an environment in which Iraqis were killed for sport. At the height of the Blackwater scandals in 2007, another prominent Trump backer, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, praised Prince, who once worked in his congressional office. “Prince,’’ Rohrabacher said, “is on his way to being an American hero just like Ollie North was.’’
Killing Iraqis for sport. Makes you wonder where Prince was the night Trump’s team killed 200 Iraqis a few weeks ago. Prince is currently advising Trump.
And his fingerprints are also all over Comeygate.
“Late last night, HuffPo columnist Seth Abramson discovered that Prince gave a rather interesting interview to Breitbart News Daily on November 4—less than 24 hours before Comey announced there was no there there in the new emails. Prince claimed that the FBI’s hand was forced by hopping mad NYPD detectives investigating Anthony Weiner. Supposedly, they found “State Department emails” and evidence of a trove of criminal activity involving the Clintons and other prominent Democrats. Click over to my piece at Liberal America to hear it—but be sure you’re sitting down. After all, this is Breitbart—or rather, Trumpbart—we’re talking about.”
“According to this narrative the NYPD gave the FBI an ultimatum—reopen the investigation, or we will hold a press conference to announce a ton of arrests. Supposedly, this “pushed the FBI off their chairs,” prompting Comey’s now-infamous letter.”
“Two big problems. First, we know that the warrant contained no such thing. Rather, its sole “probable cause” was a possible email exchange between Hillary and Huma Abedin. On that basis, a number of legal experts have condemned it as hackery at best and a Fourth Amendment violation at worst.”
“More seriously, Prince openly admitted that he knew about the emails before Comey did. For those of you keeping score, that makes THREE close confidants to Trump who knew about the emails in the three weeks between when they were found and when Comey was finally notified. The other two? Rudy Giuliani and Jim Kallstrom, both of whom were in contact with active agents during the investigation.”
“And all three of them knew damn well what they were doing when they made those leaks. Remember, Giuliani is a former U. S. Attorney, and before then headed the DOJ’s criminal division. Kallstrom is the former head of the FBI in New York City. Prince was a major government contractor during his tenure at Blackwater. If this isn’t evidence that this election was tainted by criminal misconduct, what is?”
Indeed, what is criminal misconduct if not Watergate 2.0?
P.S. We won’t have this investigation until the Dems take back the House. As I’ve discussed recently, I’m looking into a run against Peter King (GOP-NY-District 2). I took a poll that was very interesting. It showed that after comparing my own positions with King’s on a number of issues, I only trail him by 11 points.
Again, this is me now as an unknown. I’m working on getting known. I met with Duwayne Gregory who ran against King in 2016 and spoke with the Suffolk Dems. They are now looking at my blog and I will meet with the chairman soon.
In other words, I’m doing my bit to try to get us a House majority, King has won 13 straight House elections so as Trump puts it ‘What do you have to lose?’ Dems might as well try something different.

There is nothing more important in getting answers to Trump-Russia collusion than a Democratic House in 2019. Please donate to help me in my part of the effort to fight for a Dem House.
Thank you. We must have a Dem House. And so, we will
