Is There Any Reason to Believe This is the First Time Trump Gave Classified Info to Kislyak?
There’s no reason to think this as Bill Palmer points out:
“Every worst fear about Donald Trump’s status as a conspiring puppet of the Russian government was confirmed tonight when he was caught giving highly classified information to two Russian government representatives. Trump gave the intel to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak on Thursday. But based on what we know of the longtime relationship between Trump and Kislyak, this can’t be the first time Trump has given him classified intel.”
“Follow the dots: Donald Trump and Sergey Kislyak first officially met backstage at a campaign speech in April 2016 (link). Trump was not yet the Republican nominee and he was therefore not yet being given classified intel briefings. But Kislyak’s attendance at Trump’s first-ever foreign policy speech of the campaign was a harbinger of just how thoroughly Kislyak was pulling Trump’s strings the entire time. By the time of the Republican Convention, Kislyak was once again in attendance, and several of Trump’s advisers met with Kislyak as he rewrote a portion of the Republican party charter to his liking.”
Regarding the rewritten charter, Russian agent Carter Page was also in the mix as he promised to work on Trump changing it in exchange for a 19.5% stake in Rosnet.
“But then came Donald Trump’s first intel briefings of the campaign, which first began on August 18th of 2016, after he had secured the nomination (link). Then in September, Kislyak met with Trump campaign adviser Jeff Sessions for the third time. Given what we now know about Trump’s willingness to share classified intel, did he give key info to Sessions, who then gave it to Kislyak? This question must be answered. And there’s much more.”
Sessions’ campaign deputy, Jeff Gordon, has admitted being in the decision to change the GOP charter. You know who else Gordon said was involved? Donald Trump.
“During the transition period, Trump adviser Michael Flynn made several phone calls to Kislyak. Flynn has since been exposed as a paid foreign agent of Russia. Did Trump give classified intel to Flynn, who then gave it to Kislyak? Trump’s son in law Jared Kushner also met with Kislyak during the transition (link). And these are just the Kislyak meetings we know about. It’s nearly a given that the loose lipped Trump shared classified intel with his entire circle. Which if any of them turned around and gave it to the Russian Ambassador? These questions must now be answered.”
I mean at some point you have to ask if Trump himself is a Russian agent. In the past when Democrats said this it was derided as improbable conspiracy theorizing. But at this point with this illegitimate President tell me what is really improbable? Carter Page is a Russian agent. He was recruited. Maybe Trump was too.
Remember too that you can also be an unwitting Russian agent. It’s quite possible that Trump doesn’t consider himself to be a Russian agent, doesn’t realize he is and yet in fact is.
But sometimes you just have to say if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it’s a duck. You know rather than all a big huge coincidink.
As John Schindler points out this shocking story verifies what he and others were warning back in February: that the intelligence community was holding back as they don’t trust Trump handling classified information.
Here is Schindler back in early February:
“In a recent column, I explained how the still-forming Trump administration is already doing serious harm to America’s longstanding global intelligence partnerships. In particular, fears that the White House is too friendly to Moscow are causing close allies to curtail some of their espionage relationships with Washington—a development with grave implications for international security, particularly in the all-important realm of counterterrorism.”
Yes-how do you think our allies feel after Trump without permission released intelligence they shared with us to an adversary like Russia? Bear in mind that this is info that we haven’t even shared with other allies.
“Now those concerns are causing problems much closer to home—in fact, inside the Beltway itself. Our Intelligence Community is so worried by the unprecedented problems of the Trump administration—not only do senior officials possess troubling ties to the Kremlin, there are nagging questions about basic competence regarding Team Trump—that it is beginning to withhold intelligence from a White House which our spies do not trust.”
At the time the Trump WH did what it does with everything deny the truth. Nothing to see here, this is just fake news, fake news I tell you. Only the liberal media cares about this not white people in Middle America.
Now we see why our IC has been so concerned.
“That the IC has ample grounds for concern is demonstrated by almost daily revelations of major problems inside the White House, a mere three weeks after the inauguration. The president has repeatedly gone out of his way to antagonize our spies, mocking them and demeaning their work, and Trump’s personal national security guru can’t seem to keep his story straight on vital issues.”
Again, this was early February, just a few weeks in.
At this point the Republican party needs to wake up or forever be tarred as the party of treason.
Paul Ryan now shamefully pretends to have no control over the situation.
There was a time when ‘Sad Paul Ryan’ didn’t feel so ‘powerless.’
I renew my call for the Director of National Intelligence to suspend all classified briefings for Secretary Clinton. https://t.co/NgzMLP6lsg

In truth no one has more control over this situation than Ryan and Mitch McConnell. If they fail to act now-Select Committee and a Special Prosecutor, they go down officially as leaders of the Party of Treason.
Regarding a Special Prosecutor plus a Select Committee, I’ve decided that’s the best way to get to the bottom of this for one reason: it was the setup for Watergate too and worked very effectively.
P.S. As we saw in my poll out last week, the long awaited poll results are in, and right now I’m just 11 points down vs. Peter King (GOP-NY-District 2). And the voters don’t even know who I am yet.
There is nothing more important in getting answers to Trump-Russia collusion than a Democratic House in 2019. Please donate to help me in my part of the effort to fight for a Dem House.
Thank you. We must have a Dem House. And so, we will.
