In CNN Interview Roger Stone Engages in Blatant Obstruction of Justice in Broad Daylight
Many in Trumpworld are ignoring Mark Kasowitz and lawyering up. Kasowitz was telling everyone not to worry about legal representation. Sure, just hitch your wagon to Trump. That worked for Erlichman and Haldeman.
Open warfare in WH btwn WH Counsel McGann and Trump's personal lawyer Kasowitz. Kasowitz telling staff they don't need attorneys is 1 issue.

No one is buying what Kasowitz is selling though. They are lawyering up-Mike Pence, Jared Kushner, even Michael Cohen, Trump’s sleazy NY lawyer now has a lawyer-let’s hope it’s not Felix Sater.
It’s not Felix Sater:
“Cohen has hired Stephen Ryan of Washington, D.C. law firm McDermott, Will & Emery, as NBC News’ Katy Tur first reported Friday and Cohen confirmed to the Washington Post. Much of Ryan’s practice is devoted to trying cases for lobbyists, but he also has experience prosecuting criminal cases and directing investigations into organized crime networks.”
“The House Intelligence Committee approved subpoenas for Cohen back in May, asking for testimony, personal documents and business records. He said this week that he is scheduled to testify before the panel in early September—an appointment that the committee has not confirmed.”
Roger Stone, though, is taking a different tact. I believe he has hired a few lawyers. But he’s not exactly ‘lawyering up’ or at least not shutting up. It might help him if he did. From our standpoint as Dems and anti Trump #Resistance, or the media, to say nothing of Mueller, Stone is welcome to keep talking.
“Roger Stone, the political operative and ally of President Trump, says Trump should fire Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating Russian interference in the election.”
“In an interview with CNNMoney on Friday, Stone said that Trump should also fire Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general.”
“Stone, speaking at a marijuana industry conference in New York, said they should both be gone.”
“I’d fire Mueller and Rosenstein for wasting the taxpayers’ money,” Stone said. “This is a witch hunt.”
“Stone’s life in national politics dates to his days as a dirty-trickster for President Richard Nixon. More recently, he was an adviser to Trump’s presidential campaign. He himself has been named in the Russia investigations, including as a possible link between the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks.”
“On Friday, he insisted there was no evidence of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign. And he said he was willing to testify “if they would let me testify in public. I would like to testify in public.”
Again-Stone is under investigation. And he is demanding the firing of those investigating him in broad daylight.
Roger Stone is literally giving interviews to show off just how much he can engage in obstruction of justice

This is someone who would literally rather go to jail than be ignored.
“CNNMoney spoke to Stone at the Cannabis World Congress and Business Exposition, a marijuana industry conference where he was a keynote speaker, preaching pro-legalization views to a receptive audience.”
“I’m proud to be one of you,” he said, as the crowed cheered. “I’m proud to be an advocate.”
Sure, he’s pro Cannabis, which is why he did everything he could to get Jeff Sessions in at DOJ. This is classic misdirection by Stone, he’s a classic agent provocateur.
But Stone loves to strut, which will be his undoing.
“In an interview that aired Sunday on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” program, Roger Stone, the off-the-books Trump adviser, reiterated his claim that he has been in touch with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.”
“On the C-SPAN show, Stone told Politico’s Alex Isenstadt of his communication to Assange “through an intermediary—somebody who is a mutual friend”—regarding the 30,000 emails the Clinton staff deleted before turning over the contents of the server to Justice Department investigators. (Clinton maintains that only emails of a personal nature were deleted.) Asked to corroborate Assange’s threat of “an October surprise” to stem from that trove, Stone offered a suggestion he clearly deemed to be more helpful to the Trump campaign.”
His need for attention is our opportunity and will be his undoing.
Again, folks, I’m in it to win it for NY 2 vs. Peter King. Really, I’m not saying this either as a goof or a delusion!
King is on the House intelligence committee, where he spends all his time shielding Herr Trump from the Russia probe.
My hope is to be able to replace his dead wood on this very same House intelligence committee.
P.S. So the Gravis poll against Peter King NY2 and it has good news-almost too good to believe.
In my March poll I trailed King by 11 and thought that was very good news. Now Gravis has me up by 10? Still, the moment of truth is next week when Gravis writes up the press release.
I can use any help I can get at this point-volunteers or supporters who live in NY 2. Donations whatever your zip code. These days we can’t just support a local Dem we need a Dem Congress. Which is why I’ve donated few hundred to Jon Ossoff.
Please donate to help me in my part of the effort to fight for a Dem House-$5 or $10 can do so much.
If you feel that you can’t I, of course, understand-who is rich these days? But please do me one favor: ask yourself privately, mentally, if you really can’t spare $5 dollars. If you can honestly say you can’t, no worries.
We can have a Dem Congress, we must have a Dem Cogress, and we will.
Thank you. We must have a Dem House. And so, we will.
