In our Soon Upcoming Facebook Live Q&A I Will Personally Take Your Questions
So I hope you had a good turkey day! Personally we went to my brother’s second home up on Connecticut. It’s nice out there but easy to get lost as the local streets are all in the woods with no signs and markings.
We almost made it without a hitch-were literally two streets away according to Google directions but then RT 109 was shutdown. So we were driving around the next 30 minutes until we asked some woman literally getting into her car whose house was basically a farm.
Anyway happy ending-we got there and got back fine. Got to watch a little football too. I don’t know how you spend your Thanksgiving but for me the essential-and sufficient-elements are turkey and football.
I did learn one thing new-turns out they’ve eliminated all the toll booths at Part Authority in NYC. I’m going to write about this more in depth later because this crystallizes one of the major reasons I’m running for Congress in the NY2 district: we have a low wage epidemic in our country and the cause is largely automation.
And this is just a perfect example of that. I had a couple of thoughts:
1. There are a number of new unemployed-or underemployed-toll both workers. I know they probably said they will all be reassainged but are all or most of them really being moved to postions with similar pay/benefits?
2. But on the driver side, it really is a big improvement. You get over the bridge much faster without having to line up in the various booths-ferverishly trying to make sure you’re in the right one and wondering if assuming you are in the right lane, once you get out your exit isn’t coming too fast on the other side of the road once you get through.
Now they just mail you the bill. So it saves a lot of time and I think pretty much reduces the stress to boot.
This is why I’m calling for new New Deal. But I’ll get into that in a little more detail in a subsequent post.
For now I want to let you know more about what I touched on in the title. We are going to have a Q&A on Facebook Live in the next few weeks.
It will be at some local establishment like Panera Bread or Dunkin Donuts, etc. I will talk to you folks a little more about who I am, what makes me tick, and why I’m running for NY2. Why I think I will be a very good choice to represent you here in the NY2 District.
Spoiler alert: this is the opposite of an orthodox campaign and that’s why I believe we have a chance as the Dems have run orthodox candidates the last 25 years and all we’ve done is lose by 20 points, buy 30 points, by 40 points, every single time.
Then I will take your questions. Let me know what’s on your mind. In terms of what you want for both our NY2 district and for this country.
I feel that this is a crossroads in our history. This is NOT who we are but we have to act now so that we don’t lose tour country forever.
As Hillary says America is already great but it’s on us to keep it that way AND to make it the more perfect union the Founding Fathers spoke of.
So look out for details about our Facebook Live Q&A in the next few weeks. Including particularly WHERE it will be.
Again we’re looking to make this happen within the next 2 weeks.
You can watch the live feed right on my Facebook page:
OR drop by and say hello!
Very much looking forward to it.
As I noted yesterday the Mike Sax NY2 campaign is now hiring for a variety of positions and are looking for volunteers.
For further questions you can call/email either Chris North or myself.
Email Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org

Chris says you can pretty much call him whenever; I can attest-the guy is always working. Good thing he’s working for OUR side!
And you can ALWAYS reach out to me:

So again, hope you’re Thanksgiving was grand. Now let’s make some things happen in the run up to Christmas.
Join the Impeachment Train army today and let’s end Peter King’s 25 year reign and bring back legitimacy to the Oval Office!
Chug a chug a chug a chug a choo chooo choooooo!
P.S. I’m Mike Sax, I’m running for Congress in the NY 2nd District and I’m a Hillary Clinton Democrat.
Meeting her recently was one of the biggest honors in my life to stand next to such a fine public servant and trailblazer. She seemed to like our Impeachment Train campaign t shirts too!
Think of the shirt as a one time investment in restoring legitimacy to this country.
And please donate so we can compete with Peter King’s $4 million. I know no lobbyists or millionaires like Peter King. Small donations are the engine of the Mike Sax NY2 campaign. Together we can do it. Because we must.
