The Latest From the Mike Sax for Congress NY2 Campaign
Hello my friends! If you’re a regular reader of this blog you may well be asking ‘But what happened to Mike?’
Long time readers know I’m usually a prolific writer-publishing about 5 blog posts every day. But the last week, I haven’t been posting much. So what gives?
Rest assured I haven’t forgotten YOU. My readers, followers, and hopefully supporters in my Congressional campaign mean a lot to me.
But there have been some changes as my Congressional campaign has begun to heat up. I know have a campaign manager and some other people in the local party consulting with me-you’d be shocked if I told you some of those now showing interest in the Mike Sax for Congress campaign.
I know I am.
However, you know success has a price. One price is they want me to take off the Impeachment Train t shirt and don a suit as you can see in the picture above. Here’s the good news though: I can’t wear the t shirt now but you can!
So please buy one as I have to live vicariously through you now!
Or please donate-we have end of the year filing on December 31 so NOW is an opportune time to make a donation.
They also wanted me to shave the beard. Mike Sax without a beard! First time in 20 years. Why? I don’t know. But I get the sense that they feel political candidates shouldn’t have beards.
I get the sense that they think that beards particularly put off women voters and, of course, one of my main competitors for the nomination is a woman.
To be sure, since I shaved it, I’ve gotten various reactions. Some women have assured me they don’t hate beards. LOL. Now you tell me, I think. But, on the other hand, many seem to think IT IS a big improvement.
At the end of the day, this campaign for the future of the NY CD2 district-to raise wages and to get to the bottom of what happened in that election with Trump and Russia-is so important to me, and am so passionate, that I’m willing to do whatever is necessary even shaving my beard!
Now as to why I’m blogging less, it’s a few reasons.
1. I really can’t afford to spend as much money on sponsored ads for this blog as I was the last 4 months or so. Now that I have some staff helping my campaign and promoting me through their own political channels on Facebook, there is less need for me to boost so many of my own posts.
Which is just as well as I can’t afford that anymore.
2. In addition we are developing a new Mike Sax for Congress page which should be up and functioning soon. You can like it now.
In the coming weeks, there will be more content there. I still plan to blog here from time to time but at least for now, not as much as in the past.
But keep up with me on the Mike Sax for Congress page and, of course, the Facebook page.
And again, you can always buy an impeachment train t-shirt-it’s not just a political campaign, it’s a movement.
Just donated to Mike. Spread the word! Good Luck Mike! Follow, Support, Canvass, VOTE! RT! 👏👏👇🏻 https://t.co/eF449lwtQz
